Offshore-Solutions: New platform cranes for secure service

The new offshore-cranes by VETTER Krantechnik have been designed to lift material from service ships onto platforms of offshore wind turbines.

Optionally, the cranes are also applied to rescue and transport persons. Thanks to the use of electric gears there is no danger of hydraulic oil leakage and pollution. Several crane types with capacities up to 2,500 kgs are available that are provided with a high-performance offshore coating “C5-M-High”. Using parts requiring little or no maintenance at all, makes the cranes especially service-friendly.

For all cranes an acceptance in conformity with Germanischer Lloyd‘s Rules and Requirements is possible.
