Following a quality audit carried out by the Japan Industrial Imaging Association (JIIA), the CP70 and CP80 and machine vision cameras of Optronis GmbH have been awarded the CoaXPress Quality Seal. That makes Optronis one of the first camera manufacturers to be distinguished with this seal.

Image data transfer at maximum speed – that is the key feature of the CoaxPress data interface. To ensure both the high quality of data transfer and that the cameras conform to the CoaxPress standard, the cameras are subject to a quality audit, carried out by the Japan Industrial Imaging Association (JIIA). The JJIA is an organisation that has set itself the goal, among others, of establishing fundamental standards in industrial image processing.

The tests stretch the electrical and electromechanical components such as PCBs, plug connections and electrical parts right to the limits of their capacity in order to ensure that the CoaxPress data path has no weak points whatsoever. Optronis GmbH has now had its CamPerform CP70 and CP80 cameras tested by JIIA and is one of the first camera manufacturers to obtain the CoaxPress Quality Seal for both camera families. The machine vision cameras from Optronis transfer image data at up to 25 gigabits per second on up to four CoaxPress channels simultaneously. The quality seal thus indicates maximum confidence in the application of this still young interface technology. It also enables Optronis to underline the high quality standard of its cameras.
