Bodine Electric’s new 24VDC, 1/4HP 34B/FV-F gearmotors provide up to 341 lb-in. (39 Nm) continuous torque. Stock models are available in gear ratios ranging from 5:1 to 180:1 and rated output speeds of 0.3 to 500 RPM.

The 34B/FV-F Series incorporates  following standard features:

  • Integral 24VDC control simplifies installation, minimizes EMI, and reduces wiring cost.
  • PWM voltage control, amplifier enable, direction and dynamic braking inputs. Fault signal output.
  • Built-in 1024 PPR, two channel quadrature, optical encoder.
  • Can operate in velocity or position control mode.
  • Plug-in connectors for power, logic, and encoder.
  • Internal current limit protects motor from short-term overload.
  • Compact size takes up minimal space. IP-44.
  • The 34B motor provides high starting torque, adjustable speed, and zero-maintenance.
  • Unvented gearhousing for universal horizontal mounting.
  • Industrial lip type seals on motor and output shafts.
  • Needle bearings throughout for increased radial load capacity and long life.
  • All steel helical gears. Gearing meets or exceeds AGMA 9 standard for maximum life and quiet operation.

Brushless DC gearmotors are virtually maintenance-free. They are ideal for medical equipment, packaging machines, conveyor systems, printing equipment, and factory automation applications.
