On the METAV trade fair REIS ROBOTICS again proves its leading role for system integration and multi-process solutions. With the lowest possible space requirement it is possible to make automatic processes more productive and easier. For this purpose two robots quasi work hand in hand. Handling, transport with goods carriers and completed by welding, and state-of-the-art optic vision systems show how cooperating robot operation can look like today.

The hollow wrist robot RV20-6HW welds in the standardized compact welding cell. This robot surely has the same highlight like the Reis laser robot – the inside hose pack, not forming any interfering edge and increasing the work envelope.

Interlinkage explained clearly. Under this motto a small coil body for solenoid valves was produced on Reis’ booth. The handling robot takes over an additional task. It holds the coil body in front of the weld torch for welding and turns it synchronously to the welding process in order to achieve an optimum path position.

An integrated vision system supports the orderly material transport. Thus the system can always handle sorted or not sorted workpieces in safe manner. A gripper change system maximizes the universal usefulness of such solutions.

The reisPAD is the central, intuitive control and programming unit for the complete system with all components.
