SATIR introduces new Universal Purpose Core (UPC)

SATIR launched its new product the SATIR Universal Purpose Core (UPC). SATIR has spent some time developing this new product with customers in mind, as it SATIR’s goal to assist with thermal imaging needs as it believes it is leading the way in thermal imaging by making sure its products meet customer requirements.

This Universal Thermal Imager Core has an uncooled mircobolometer which has been designed to be a highly modular product for the original equipment manufacturer (OEMS) and integrator market. This is SATIR’s smallest core to date,slightly bigger than the 2 Euro Coin as shown in the image. The benefits of this being lightweight and compact is that it can be integrated into a wide variety of systems such as Surveillance & Security cameras, CCTV Systems, Robots, UAVS and Vehicles.

It is available in three different resolutions 160*120,384*288 and 640*480 to meet customer’s specific requirements. Some of the features of SATIR Universal Purpose Core (UPC) is it has a optional temperature measurement feature, multiple lens solution, industry standard interfaces for power input and video output, and a high performance-cost ratio. Customers will be able to view their pictures/video as it comes with the standard PAL/NTSC Video Format.
