The compact sensor is able to detect the position and damages of wafers and cells.

It enables robots to perform a precise collection and positioning of wafers.In this step wafers and solar cells with fine damages can be sorted
out immediately, before they completely break apart and cause further material damage.

These sensors can be integrated into existing lines just as easily as a light barrier.

Before a cell is printed it is checked for possible previous damages which would lead
to a complete breaking apart during the printing process. Through this, costly machine failures can be avoided.
