The Stauff Group – fluid technology specialist with headquarters in Werdohl, Germany – has expanded its web presence. As a result, 40 additional websites have recently gone live in no less than 26 languages. They are now accessible via direct links from the international web presence at www.stauff.com, which had already been available in 10 languages, and via several country-specific top level domains.

The websites are targeted primarily at existing and potential customers and users in foreign markets where Stauff is currently not directly represented by regional branches or subsidiaries. Moreover, they are intended to provide support to the established sales and service partners for their local activities and to help meet the company’s self-imposed goal of communicating “on an equal footing” and as directly and efficiently as possible.

In addition to nearly all European countries – from Scandinavia and the Baltic states to Central Europe and the Iberian Peninsula to the Balkans and South-Eastern Europe – the regional focus of these websites has been particularly on emerging markets in Central and South America and the Middle East. The company now makes content available online for the first time in e.g. Spanish, Persian and Arabic.

“Doing this step, we do not only strengthen our activities in emerging regions, but we also orient ourselves towards business partners in countries which can traditionally be seen as our core markets and are therefore particularly relevant to us. Examples include Japan, Scandinavia, the Benelux region, the Czech Republic and Turkey, which we now cover with country-specific websites,” says Boris Mette, Head of Marketing Communications at Stauff.
