Sitting without a driving license
Sitting in pure simplicity. Without any complicated adjustment operations and
independently of individual body type, size and weight. Sitting with an
ergonomic posture that supports natural movement and strengthens back muscles.
We made these demands on our chairs as early as the 1980s. And today, all
Wilkhahn chairs follow this principle - swivel chairs as well as seminar and
conference chairs.

|
| Modus |
| The chair with the distinct side apertures. Light,
transparent, slender. The frame with stretch fabric gives the chairs the
appearance of the flexible elasticity of a tent construction or a kite.
|
| Solis |
| Solis focuses consistently on simple, symmetric forms
and coherent, geometric surfaces. Even the linear design follows the
principles of simplicity and clarity down to the very last detail.
|
|
|
|
|
| Solis F |
| The technical design, reduced to essentials, is
repeated in the Solis F model group in the shape of the seat and backrest.
"F" for frame is derived from this very inspiration.
|
| Neos |
| People differ and so does their physique: there are
basket ball giants, featherweights and heavyweights . Ideally, what
everybody wants is an office chair to provide an equal level of support and
optimal seated comfort.
|
|
|
|
|
| FS-Line |
| The principle of the "FS-Line" range is quite simple:
the highly flexible seat shell adjusts automatically to any change in
posture. The technical term for this is: "automatic synchro-adjustment". We
call it "Sitting without a driving licence."
|
| Picto |
| Picto chairs are made from environmentally compatible
materials, which are all screw-fitted for easy repair and coded according to
pure material categories.

|
| Aline |
| With the Aline product family, Wilkhahn sets a new
standard for furnishing areas where professional handling is as important as
convincing aesthetics.
|
| Sito |
| This new cantilever chair blends in perfectly
everywhere: in a cafeteria, a meeting, seminar or conference environment or
in a manager's office. | |
|
|
|
|
|
| Versal |
| A harmonious atmosphere and comfortable furniture play
a key role in the success of a meeting or a conference. Like Versal, that
combines a high degree of comfort with clear, geometric lines.
|
| Linus |
| What do you think of when you hear the word
"conference chair"? Of solid wood and hand-sewn upholstery? No? But why not!
With Linus we have designed a conference chair for demanding aesthetes.
|
|
|
|
|
| Signo |
| Signo combines the comfort of an upholstered chair
with the mobility of a conference chair.
|
| Confair |
| The range consists of various coordinated furniture
units for interactive work and seminar scenarios. There is no unit that
cannot be moved around. Any arrangement can be reconfigured in no time at
all. | |
|
|
|
|
|
| Stitz |
| If you want to survive an eight-hour office day you
should stand up as often as possible and get away from your desk. The Stitz
promotes your natural desire for movement and encourages you to stand up and
change posture. And in the process, it exercises ligaments and muscles, and
stimulates circulation and metabolic processes in the body.

| Offer Profile |
Few companies have influenced Germany's office and
contract furniture sector as strongly as Wilkhahn. Over the course of many years
we have adopted our own pioneering standpoint and consistently pursued this.
Wilkhahn currently has a staff of over 600 throughout the world; sales outside
Germany account for over 50% of the total. Even small and medium-sized companies
from a high-wage country can succeed on the international market in spite of
globalization and increasing cost pressure. The main requirement is, however,
clear differentiation from competitors - by means of excellent product quality
and a distinct corporate culture.
Philosophy
See things in perspective. Be attentive. Keep an inquiring mind. We have never
believed in the idea of pure form: whoever designs furniture and interiors,
does, in fact, design his or her environment and human relations. Aesthetics
have always had an ethical dimension for us. For years we have consistently
pursued new paths in design; for years we have been practising fair, responsible
partnership. With nature, with our staff and with the technology which we
employ.
Architecture
An alarming number of people live and work in buildings to which they do not
relate at all. How can harmonious, user-friendly products be made in an
alienated, inhuman environment? A factory building can be more that merely a
machine covered in corrugated iron. We were able to retain two excellent
architects for our corporate architecture in the form of -Frei Otto and Thomas
Herzog. |
