Les Meubles Poitras Inc. was founded in 1967, by Robert Poitras and since that time the company has acquired a solid reputation all across Canada.
To keep up with an ever-growing demand the plant had to be expanded, to our present size. The company has highly skilled craftsmen at the plant and sales representatives covering each province across Canada, supplying a solid network of over 450 points of sale.
To maintain its standards of quality Poitras carefully selects only high-grade lumber. Furniture is manufactured using precision equipment that produces the renowned quality of the Poitras Collections. Ash (solid wood and veneer) is the only wood used in all the furniture produced in our factory. Ash is cabinet maker quality wood and responds beautifully to furniture design with its beautiful shades of colour and the nuances in its grain.
Our clientele has varying and increasingly demanding needs and we are pleased to be able to fully meet the challenge with our various Collections. We produce fine bedroom furniture, dining room furniture, home entertainment furniture and occasional tables. All of our collections are available in a wide range of colours. We are a Canadian company proud to be the major employer in our community.
