Gelar Usaha Cemerlang was founded in 1980, by Purwonoto. From the very start the focus was on high quality product, comfort and perfect service. The formula turned out to be successful. In a few years time the collection, as well as the turnover grew tremendously.
Originally, Gelar Usaha Cemerlang stood for high level furniture collection, but soon a full series of exquisite industry furniture was added, made of different natural materials such as brass, stainless steel, solid granite and of course A-grade teak wood and mahogany wood.
