The Hellespont group is a deep sea shipping enterprise specialising in the carriage of crude oil.

We were founded in Montreal, Canada in 1946. Today, we are based in Piraeus, Greece, and have agency operations in London, England and Manila, the Philippines.
In the last ten years, we have carried over 200 million tons of oil in the service of major oil companies, oil exporters, refiners and traders.
We comprise a ship-owning arm and integrated commercial and technical management organisations.
Our seafaring staff consists of over 100 officers and engineers and 250 deck and engine crew. Our shore based organization consists of over 30 full-time professionals, many of who have spent their entire careers in our group, rising from cadets at sea to senior managerial posts.
We currently run a fleet of three single hull Ultra Large Crude Carriers (ULCCs). To this fleet have been added four newbuilding ULCCs, of 442,000 deadweight each to Hellespont's
high specification. These new ULCCs are the world's first double hull ULCCs and in fact the first ULCCs built in over 20 years.
