The Matsas company headed by Captain George L. Matsas operates the most powerfull Salvage tug and Supply vessels in the Mediterranean. It maintains the one and only Salvage station in Greece at Lavrion, with the S/T “MATSAS STAR”, which is permanently manned and on standby, 24 hours a day. Cooperation with International firms and close ties with SMIT-TAK and SEACOR -owning a fleet of 400 vessels-, enables them to respond immediately to Marine Emergencies, worldwide. “Loucas G. Matsas Company” enters the new millennium, with a history spanning 3 centuries of successful Operations.
