Artweger GmbH. & Co. is a family business that was founded back in 1923. Our wooden clothes pins were soon sold beyond Austria's borders. After continuous growth in manufacturing the operation was closed in 1942 due to the war. Directly after the war the manufacture of aluminium kitchen products was added to the manufacture of wood products. Starting in 1959 the first accordion-type clothes drying racks under the name of RuckZuck were produced. The manufacture of plastic products was added, and the family of accordion-type clothes racks was continuously expanded. The export flourished and distribution companies were founded in Germany, England and the USA. In 1975 the first shower enclosure from Artweger, under the name of Adria, was brought to market. This area soon developed into our most important product line and was continuously expanded. At present Artweger employs about 220 employees in Austria.
