Papeteries des Chatelles were founded in 1871 in the Vosges mountains, and the first papers are produced in 1881 on the site. 260 persons are working there and they control perfectly the paper technics producing 40.000 Tons of printing and writing paper.
Concerned about an always better quality, our mill is equiped with very technical machines : computer control on the papermachine, automatic reams cutter, modern machines for exercise books.
The paper is produced at the mill from cellulose and converted into two different fields : schoolpaper, drawing papers, artistical papers and stationery
sheets and reams ( photocopy paper extra white, offset, duplicating paper, watermarked extra strong jet laser).
