Omega was founded by kibbutz members in the early fifties in order to supply Israeli schools with blackboard chalk.
When the need arose, Omega's fledgling R&D department came up with unique formulations for brilliant paints with an extended shelf-life: Poster paints, Gouache paints, Tempera paints, Finger paints, Metallic and Pearl paints.
In the late seventies, Omega was well established in the local market and began exploring marketing channels abroad, such as office supplies, school supplies, pre-school supplies, kindergarten and nursery supplies.
Today more than 50% of Omega's income is from exports to over 40 countries around the world. We specialize in manufacturing private label products.
