Continental Paper S.p.A. (limited share company) was founded in 1993 with the purpose of creating a paper-mill which, by means of very modern and advanced technology, produced 100 % recycled paper for high quality printing and writing use. The factory is, by intention, the only Italian firm which totally dedicates its resources to producing ecological and de-inked paper. Raw materials come only from waste and manufacturing rejects that have undergone a process of de-inking, cleaning and recycling of cellulose fibres which are later re-used for the production of new paper. The ecological policy of the company regards not only the use of waste, but also other phases in the life of the Company.
A closed water plant used for production makes it possible to nullify the environmental impact of the firm, reducing considerably water use and avoiding any type of waste pollution.
