BOTALO is a company which is situated in Libourne (not far from Bordeaux in France) and was founded in the early sixties. The family of the founder has always worked in the leather industry, as early as the middle ot the 19th century (the great-grand father, a shoemaker, made boots for the codfishers and for the terranuevas, on the dock of Bordeaux).
With the production of boots, shoes and rigging protections (made of leather), the brand does not hesitate to become a reference for everyone who loves sailling. Accompanied by the best skippers, who are specialised in great races (Tabarly, Colas, Jeantot, Lamazou, Parlier, Coville, Ellen McArthur...), Botalo is present in several country and is a partner of various international sport events (the olympics, the sailboats tour de France, Route du Rhum...) as well as an organiser of a sail race wich finishes in the center of Bordeaux.
Every season, Botalo intoduces new models. For this summer there are shoes which are waterproof and breathing thanks to a special membrane.
