On July 31st at 13:19 eta made it's maidenflight in Cochstedt near Magdeburg.
After this first takeoff, which was a flight with a height of about 2m along the runway, the first takeoff in aerotow to 1500m was done at 13:58
The inflight view of this glider is very impressive.
Third flight was the first selfpowered takeoff and was made without any problems, too.

The official presentation was at August 1, when eta did some more flights.

eta now has got more than 30 hours in the air and the flight tests are in progress without any problems with this glider.
