Performance Catamarans Inc., was established in 1988 by combining two top catamaran lines, NACRA and PRINDLE. These two brands were first introduced in the 1970s with PRINDLE leading the way with a line of recreational catamarans and NACRA, on the other end of the spectrum, offered race-oriented products. In the early 1980s, both companies headed in new directions in order to meet their customer needs. The Inter 18 (introduced in 1996) set the standard for all future catamarans. With the new millenium upon us, Performance Catamarans is looking forward to continuing the tradition as the leader in the catamaran manufacturing and innovative designs.
