Since 10 years, ventura design on time is one of the leading innovators of contemporary design in the watch-making industry. Together with accomplished designers, ventura has conceived and realized «time-objects» already recognized as «classics» of modern product design, all passed and current watches have received numerous international awards. Leading museums with contemporary design-departments such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the State Museum for Applied Art «Die Neue Sammlung» in Munich, the Athenæum Museum of Architecture in Chicago, the Musée d'Emaillerie et de l'Horlogerie in Geneva, to name only a few, have included ventura models in their permanent collections.
Hannes Wettsteins v-matic chronometer collection has received some of the most prestiguous awards such the title of «Best of Best» 1995 from the Essen Design Center in Nordrhein-Westfalen; the 1995 prize from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture, a commendation in the «Durability» 97/98 competition from the Design Center in Stuttgart, awards for Innovation in 2000 and 2001 by an independent Jury on behalf of the CHRONOS magazine (Germany) and many other international citations.
