That’s why, for the past 75 years, we’ve evolved a technology and created a line of diving products designed for simplicity, reliability, safety, and high performance.
Sherwood offers a simplified technology coupled with high quality, precision-crafted materials that makes our gear consistently reliable, simple to maintain, and easy to operate.
Our last name is Scuba, an acronym that stands for Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus. We are the only company in the world that makes our own precision underwater breathing equipment. That means we design, manufacture and assemble our own regulators, valves and cylinders, right down to the brass.
An industry leader in precision life support systems, Sherwood began providing regulators and valves for medical and industrial applications in 1923. Our ISO 9001 certification recognizes Sherwood’s ability to meet precise international standards for design, manufacture and quality, including all European EN250 standards and cold water performance tests.
