Company Profile

INTERSPIRO started its existence as a part of AGA, a very large Swedish group of companies.
AGA was started in 1904 and soon diversified from gas and navigation aids to a wide range of core related products. Included in this range were regulators that saved gas in the light houses and later other applications for the regulators were found in the medical field and in breathing protection.
In the second half of the 1940's breathing equipment, both for fire fighting and for diving had become a recognised product range and due to the technological level of AGA many new and advanced innovations saw the light of day. In 1974 AGA Spiro was formed and in 1983 the name was changed to INTERSPIRO in connection with a concentration of products at AGA.
Interspiro has had a steady expansion during the years with a policy to first ensure a good service organisation and product knowledge before taking the next step in each market.
With more than 50 years of experience in the respiratory field INTERSPIRO has always been technologically in the forefront. Over the years, INTERSPIRO has designed many advanced systems, for instance, the combined G suit and oxygen breathing systems for the Swedish military aircrafts.
