Hydrospeichertechnik St. Egidien was founded in 1994.

Hydropneumatic accumulators have been developed and produced by ORSTA-Hydraulik since 1963 and by Hydrospeichertechnik St. Egidien since 1994. The ORSTA accumulator was used worldwide for agricultural machines machine tools, air traffic control units, railroad lines, power stations, printing presses, building machinery and many other equipments with hydraulic control.
