Company Profile

The company has been operated by the same family since its founding by Cyrus Clark Sr. in 1925. He started in the textile business to create fine quality fabrics with an English styling for the American market. These traditional styled prints have continued to be an integral part of the product line while also providing a strong basis for the diverse line of fabrics that are now offered.

Cyrus Clark Jr. became president of the company in 1975 and continued to maintain his father’s excellence for design and quality of fabrics. He expanded the number of designs and enhanced the styling of the fabrics he helped to create and merchandise. The styling was expanded to not only include the beautiful traditional floral prints but also to include transitional, contemporary and novelty looks that have helped in the continued growth of the company.
