Founded in 1884, Canadian Buttons Limited was one of the pioneering companies to manufacture products in plastic in Canada.
Canadian Buttons is a privately owned Canadian company. A major supplier to garment manufacturers and retailers around the world, Canadian Buttons Limited constantly focuses on developing new products and services that respond to the changing and growing needs of our customers.
In 1984 Canadian Buttons Limited was honored to receive a place in the Montreal Business Hall of Fame. This recognition was for 100 years of being an outstanding corporate citizen and for our contributions to the community.
Canadian Buttons Limited has over 130 thousand square feet of manufacturing space. Our capacity available for new manufacturing ventures is not limited by our current facility in terms of equipment, space or personnel. Each new project is evaluated and suited to fit our customers needs.
As additional uses emerged for plastic, a separate company was formed to focus on developing new markets in the field of injection molding. Canadian Plastics Inc., located in Hawkesbury, Ontario, produces a wide variety of products for various major industries including; appliance, communications, construction, containers, cosmetics, electronics, fashion apparel, food service, furniture, hardware, promotional items, sports and leisure, and stationery.
