Hidraulica U.M. Plopeni S.A. is the main manufacturer of hydraulic equipments in Romania. Our company is located at 80 km from Bucharest, near the city of Ploiesti, on the county road Ploiesti-Slanic.
Separated from Uzina Mecanica Plopeni S.A. in December 2003, the company took over the whole production of hydraulic equipments.
Uzina Mecanica Plopeni was established in 1937 and was meant to work for the military production necessities. After the war, the civilian production replaced the military one. It began the production of ploughs, cultivators, different
stations for Romanian railways. Also, the factory repaired different types of Romanian railways tools, tractors, a.s.o.
Licence:
The 60’s was the period when the first licenses for manufacturing of hydraulic equipments were bought.
Our manufacturing program comprises :
- Axial piston pumps and motors used within power hydrostatic
installations
- Axial piston pumps swash plate used within tipping installations;
- Gear pumps and motors used within power hydrostatic installations
- Telescopic cylinders for dumping vehicles and trucks
- Double action hydraulic cylinders for agriculture
- Gerotor-type pump for general purpose applications used within
servo-steering installations
- Hydraulic sub-assemblies and spare parts for tractors
