In the 1980’s LINAK’s product range consisted mostly of electro mechanical actuators limited to five basic models. Since then the product range has expanded to include lifting columns, control boxes, controls and various kinds of accessories.
Today we offer more than 10,000 different articles including customised combinations. However, at LINAK we always seek to innovate our product range in order to be competitive and to fulfill the needs of our customers.
Many of our products can be used in more than one of our five business areas; MEDLINE® & CARELINE®, TECHLINE™, DESKLINE®, NETLINE™ and HOMELINE® and other products are specially designed for each business area.
Linear actuators and built-in actuators
An actuator is the unit, which converts low DC voltage from the control box into a linear movement. The LINAK actuator consists of three main elements; a motor, a gear and a spindle including a nut.
TWINDRIVE™ actuators
The dual actuator system TWINDRIVE™ has been developed to supply the growing demands for motorised systems in leisure beds. The TWINDRIVE system consists of the dual actuator TD1 with integrated control box and a control for adjustment of the head and footrest.
Switchgear Automation
LINAK's non-intrusive solution for Switchgear Automation is called iSwitch. The Switchgear Automation systems from LINAK are developed to kill pains of the global electricity market. Our actuation systems are designed for the majority of Ring Main Units or distribution switchgears manufactured.
Lifting columns
In the lifting column, guide and actuator functions are integrated. With LINAK’s lifting columns it is possible to raise, lower or tilt beds, desks, tables, kitchen units, and even heavy-duty industrial workbenches by means of a button. With an adjustment range of up to 675 mm the lifting columns even fulfill the most stringent of European standards.
Control boxes
The control box is the heart of the system linking the various connectable units, e.g. actuators and controls. LINAK produces several different control boxes ranging from simple control boxes suitable for powering one or two actuators to sophisticated control boxes with microprocessors suitable for powering up to 4 actuators or even multi-parallel systems thereby offering you many different options.
Controls
The controls are the units used when you want the LINAK system to perform a movement. They determine whether the control box makes the actuator or lifting column move up or down. The LINAK controls are available with or without memory or even display for digital "read-out" of the height indication. Controls with memory give you the option to store more positions, which is very convenient when several different persons use the same facility.
Accessories
LINAK also offers a wide range of accessories that can be used with the different actuators, lifting columns, control boxes and controls. These include electronic limit switches, LS / LSD limit switches, potentiometers, safety limit switches, extension cables and mains cut-off.
