Founded in 1909, Roehm is now one of the leading chucking tool manufacturers with a product range that goes from basic drill chucks to cutting edge custom-designed products for big name manufacturers. When it comes to efficient clamping devices, Roehm is the one capable to offer everything the customer needs.
The variety of the sales program is unique:
Drill Chucks, live centres, lathe chucks and vices, gripping technology, power chucks, cylinders and mandrels, tool clamping systems and a major potential of special designs. The wide range of products covers an infinite number of applications.
The products are distributed via the extensive international network of subsidiaries (consisting of Brasil, Denmark, France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, UK and the USA) and sales offices in more than 60 countries. Over 50% of the german production is exported.
Today Roehm is an internationally renowned company with a reputation for precision and quality.
It has around 1900 employees worldwide and two major plants,
one in Sontheim (covering, among other product groups, the whole drill chuck production)and one in nearby Dillingen Donau (concentrating especially on the product line lathe chucks and vices).
The special engineering and sales department in St.Georgen cares for the product line mandrels and offers standard and tailermade solutions for a wide variety of requirements.
The new manufacturing places in India and Slovakia and a joint venture in China are the latest steps to make the company even better, faster and more efficient in the future and show the clear international orientation of the company.
