Relats, S.A. is a family business founded in 1957, initially dedicated to the production of industrial textiles, basically cotton fabrics.
In 1970 the company starts manufacturing fibreglass braided sleeving, and 7 years later begins to develop its export activities.
Relats becomes a fully integrated manufacturing unit in 1981 and in 1992 it buys the second largest British electrical insulating sleeving manufacturer: Suflex Sleeving Limited, at present RELATS UK LTD.
In 1997 the construction of a brand new building of 7.000 m2 starts.
