MillerEdge, Inc. is the leading North American manufacturer of sensing edges for motorized doors and gates. Originally known as Miller Brothers, MillerEdge was founded in 1939 by Norman K. Miller. In 1957 the first sensing edge was patented. In 1967 the company moved from Philadelphia to Concordville, PA and expanded the product line. In 1980 the company was incorporated.
Today, MillerEdge, Inc. holds over 80 patents in the United States and abroad. Bearge Miller, son of founder Norman K. Miller, serves as President of the firm, supported by Florence Mohler, daughter of Norman K. Miller, who serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
In 1994, MillerEdge, Inc. moved its headquarters from Concordville, PA to Jennersville, PA tripling its' facility size to 58,000 square feet and giving it on-site space to double its' size in the future. The company recently expanded by moving into their new West Coast sales, manufacturing and distribution facility located in Tempe, AZ.
