ScotWeave is a professional Computer Aided Design system for all types of woven textiles. It is suitable for in-house designers, stylists, and freelance design studios. Developed at the internationally renowned Scottish College of Textiles, ScotWeave is built on a foundation of textile knowledge. ScotWeave can be used to create dobby flatwoven, jacquard flatwoven, dobby velvet, and jacquard velvet fabrics of all types and complexities, including double cloth, warp and weft reversible and extra warp/weft figuring. Designs are created visually on the computer screen and can be printed on a colour printer, sent directly to production machinery, or converted into a set of printed instructions for weaving.
