The Jihostroj Co. is an enginneiring company producing hydraulic systems and components for more than 80 years. Its application fields are :
Hydraulics :
The development, production and sale of hydraulic components and system has been a part of the business programme of JIHOSTROJ for more than 40 years. The advantage of these components is their versatility for the systems of power steering, power and auxiliary hydraulics for the automotive industry, building and agriculture machinery and in a wide range of other spheres of engineering. The quality of products is demonstrated by their successful use by both inland and foreign customers in the most demanding operationals conditions and in all climates. The experience from operation is then utilised by JIHOSTROJ for further development of hydraulic components, enhancing of their technical parameters and at the same time, working on the design and solution of new complete hydraulic systems tailormade to the needs of the customer. This represents a new direction in the programme of mobile hydraulics and also constitutes the concept of the company for a relationship with clients in the future.
Aviation Activities :
Jihostroj a.s. produces the most complicated components of fuel and hydraulic circuits of engines and aeroplanes designed according to the specification of the respective customer. A high standard of products for the aviation industry is guaranteed by many years of experience of our research and development base which designs all our products in co-operation with the technological office and quality control department, so that the products meet the most rigid criteria imposed by the customers and by the relevant regulations.
Automatic Equipment :
The production in this plant is focused especially on the delivery of turned parts (up to a diameter of 63 mm) for the needs of the automotive industry (components for Škoda auto a.s.) and it co-operates on parts for other companies in the Czech Republic holding a major share in the production of heavy wheel technology and machines for agriculture.
Other Activities :
Thermal processing of parts in protective atmosphere (heat treatment, cemetation, nitration, treatment) and surface protection of parts (galvanising, pickling, painting). Production of gauges, intruments and tools. Supplementary production in the area of surgical and medical technology.
