Lingk & Sturzebecher GmbH was founded in 1919 as a tooling and machine manufacturing company in Bremen, Germany. Today the company, which lies on the southwest outskirts of the city of Bremen, offers custom-engineered solutions for complex technical control problems in the field of hydraulics as well as extensive hydraulic services, mainly for Northern Germany. In 1996 it was decided to found an affiliated company, Lingk & Sturzebecher Leichtbau GmbH, as a complement to the well established and renowned hydraulics company, to cover the increasing market demands for lightweight structures in hydraulics technology. Emphasis is on the development and manufacturing of heavy duty lightweight structures made of fibre composite materials, especially lightweight hydraulic cylinders consisting of carbon fibre reinforced plastics (CFRP). Both companies are based in the same building complex, enabling Lingk & Sturzebecher to provide their joint engineering and production expertise rapidly and flexibly to meet individual customer requirements in the sectors of high-tech lightweight structures and hydraulics.
