Texkimp was founded in 1974 and is currently the only independent specialist creel designer and manufacturer in the world. The company concentrates solely on the production of creels for all types of processes and has access to the whole of the textile and continuous filament fibre processing industry and all its related technology. In contrast most other textile machine manufacturers produce creels as secondary products, because they are needed to deliver yarns to their main products, such as texturising and twisting machines, weaving and warp knitting machines, section warpers and beaming machines, and pre-preg and pultrusion lines.
