Company Profile

The tradition of iron working has left a deep mark even in the name chosen for the firm: FER and BER, iron working and the Beretta family. A union began in 1840 and later attested to by an official recognition in 1937 which rewarded continuity and commitment to a craft activity which still promised a considerable expansion. The heritage guarded by Enrico Beretta, sole director of FERBER,is found in a forge, a hacksaw, an anvil and a workbench carefully preserved but above all in the innovative spirit and in the utmost respect of quality which still mark FERBER’s product. These are the principles going forward, the same that in 1983 were the foundations to the new firm which was built to start the production of machines for the textile field. From the first batching motions, to the handling equipments and in seventeen years to the complete manufacturing plants which satisfy all the needs of the customer. It hasn’t always been easy to continue in a market which has lived through periods of recession. Only by commitment and the professionalism has FERBER managed to meet his targets. The factory located in Missaglia, having 4000 indoor square meters, has provided for each area of the whole manufacturing cycle since 1989.

From the offices: account dept., design, quality system, sales dept., after sale support, purchase dept., technical dept., software programming. To the departments: warehouse, carpentry, mechanical working, panting, assembly. To the firm quality according to EU standards. From 1998 the range of products has widened and now satisfies the specific needs of all weavers regarding concerning handling and logistics, from the simple, manual equipment to the autometed solutions of high technology machines. The successes shown by the order portfolio and from the steady increase of the turnover show that the road previously traced out and later set out on have been interacting as a well conceived mixture: the Beretta family and the Lombard craft tradition created the principles, the technological progress, and the necessary tools to keep up with the requests of a continuously evolving market.
