By combining the recently innovated Dispersion Tunnel™ and Performance Strakes™ with the existing Total Surface Control™ hull, an even better hull bottom was created: Total Surface Control²™. The revolutionary TSC²™ hull is composed of 11 sequential changes that all work together in harmony to produce the flattest, smoothest wake possible. In addition to wake control, the overall handling has been optimized with the TSC²™, making the boat more nimble and providing a greater turning radius, especially in those tight, high-speed turns.
"With the TSC²™, the trough has been eliminated, and the position of the rooster tail has been repositioned to where it will not affect a skier's performance. Other exterior highlights include a deeper and wider swim platform that offers more surface area for gearing up, and climbing in and out; dual grab rails on the transom; new stringers; dual gas fills -- which means no more hassles trying to fuel up at the gas station; and of course, new graphics and striping for 2002. Completing the package is a 310-hp, multi-port PCM GT-40 engine or a 5.7 Apex engine for quick acceleration out of the hole, and the all-new ACME performance-matched propeller. Each prop has been CNC-machined for accuracy in pitch, rake and skew and customized with the "N" logo etched into each blade.
