GRESSEL was founded in 1923 as an engineering workshop by Edmund GRESSEL and is still managed today by the third generation of the family. In 1933 the GRESSEL company designed and manufactured the first bench vice, and then in 1941 the first machine vices came into production. Today a wide range of products under GRESSEL clamping technology is offered.
What started with the tube connection EGA (Edmund GRESSEL Aadorf) in 1952, with time and development became the SERTO compression fitting - a complete system of tube unions, valves, tubes and accessories. The advantages of the unique radial system are still impressive today, when it comes to assembly and dismantling.
In several stages the further development of the company to the actual GRESSEL AG took place with an efficient distribution network in Switzerland and abroad. GRESSEL AG is working since the 80ies with own subsidiaries in Germany, France and England as well as with 60 representatives in Europe.
The entrepreneurial independence is guaranteed by constant product innovations, investments in modern manufacturing plants and a high level of self-financing.
