Tullio Abbate’s boat yard was founded on 1st January 1969. He’s been dealing with boats ever since he was a boy. By the time he finished technical school, at the age of 15, he was already working at his father's boat. He dealt with every field: from setting the keel in position to trying out the wonderful runabouts made of bright mahogany. When Abbate was only 18, he designed and executed his first racing motorboat.
During all these years Tullio Abbate has satisfied a lot of customers all over the world; the motorboats signed "Tullio Abbate" have ploughed and are still ploughing seas and lakes and were sold to famous people, among whom Abbate is proud to count a lot of sports-friends such as Agostini, Alboreto, Amoros, Altobelli, Baldi, Berger, Borg, Brady, Cappellini, Casiraghi, Castellini, Cherver, Diniz, Giacomelli, Icks, Lauda, Leoni Mancini, Maradona, Mass, Matthaus, Nieto, Panatta, Patrese, Pellegrini, Piquet, Pironi, Prost, Rosberg, Rumenigge, Savícevic, Senna, Schumaker, Vialli, Villeneuve and many others.
Abbate has also made boats for the "Guardia di Finanza", the "Carabinieri", the Albanian Costguard, the Spanish Customs and other Civil and Military corporations in different nations.
There's no use in saying that having satisfied these customers means being able to offer a nearly exclusive product, among the best in the international market. This goal was achieved after years of devotion: of continuous technological research in different field such as: materials mechanical engineering, transmissions, structures, accessories and above all collaboration with the best nautical products firms at a world wide level. Abbate has always chosen important firms, which, together with his skilled workers, gave him valid help for the production of "Tullio Abbate's jewels". Some of those collaborators have been by his side for more than twenty years and he is convinced that they can continue their collaboration even in the future. It is with this certainty, that the development of Abbate’s boats will be a constant and inexhaustible trend toward continuous improvement.
