With headquarters in Manteca, CA, APDS is well positioned among the leading grocery distribution centers of California and centrally located along the Highway 99 corridor serving the entire West Coast of the United States. Products arrive via railroad boxcar, rail piggy back trailers, ocean containers through the Port of Oakland, and over-the-road trucking. The proximity to San Francisco Bay Area makes APDS a popular location to store products for customers demanding short order lead times. Its location is also in the heart of the huge agricultural industry centered in the San Joaquin Valley. Many of the products from this valley end up passing through APDS on their way to market. APDS has grown from a small startup company occupying 30,000 sq. ft. into a major company employing over 250 employees using over 500,000 sq. ft. of warehouse and production space.
