Cantieri di baia is located in the gulf of Pozzuoli, the northerm part of the gulf of Naples, on the West cost of the mainland of Italy, in front of the beautiful islands of Capri and Ischia . The Yard' s facilities are built on an area of 26.500 square meters directly on the shore line of one of the most ancient harbours of the entire world : the port of Baia. Roman ships anchoring and repairing facilities dated few centuries B.C.. The experience of building fast express cruisers is already 37 years old, starting in 1961 under the name of Mericraft, building wooden klinker' s boats. In 1974 they changed their name to Cantieri di Baia-Mericraft. Every since, they have been building the most advanced series of semi-custom fast express cruisers.
