Centraalstaal B.V. supplies aluminium- and steel kits and components to the shipbuilding industry. We are an aluminium/steel preprocessing company where components are cut with computer controlled autogenous- and plasma cutting machines. After cutting we perform, as a real specialism, numerically controlled cold frame bending and cold deforming and shaping of shellplates from single to double curved.

Many years of experience, research and development have resulted in an advanced computer controlled machinery. Through the DNC network (Direct Numerical Control), the central CAD/CAM computer provides the computers on the relevant machine with the necessary production software. Shape development; work preparation; drawings for approval and working plans result in the production of building kits for ship- and yacht-building, e.g. complete kits for the hull and/or the superstructure.
