Tenix Pty Ltd is the parent company of the Tenix Group, Australia’s largest defence and technology contractor and the only Australian-owned major defence prime contractor.
Formerly half of the Transfield Group, Tenix commenced operations in November 1997 and has grown to become one of Australia’s largest privately owned companies, delivering a range of products and services to defence and commercial markets in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, the Philippines and the United States.
Today its assets include defence and shipbuilding businesses, infrastructure maintenance and engineering services, property interests and other major undertakings. Tenix is also an active partner in high technology ventures with US and European firms.
The Tenix Group has total assets of approximately A$1 billion, earning annual revenues (including joint ventures) of almost A$1 billion and employs in excess of 4,000 people.
