Boero
Company Profile  Boero Colori boasts more than a century ond half of a history in Genoa, in the hands of the same Genoese family, descendent of Bartolomeo Boero who bought a small white lead factory in 1831. Boero's close relationship with the sea goes back to the middle of the 19th century when it already produced an "Anti-corrosive underwater paint for steamers in iron and steel and for wooden vessels". The company has come a long way since then; the small white lead factory has become a group headed by BOERO BARTOLOMEO Holding. The Boero group operates in a wide range of paint product sectors through its subsidiaries and affiliates. The Yachting Sector , set up in the seventies, thanks to its experience obtained in the marine sector, has developed a range of paint systems and products enabling Boero to become Italian leader in the field of yachting pleasure and maintenance. The most prestigious boatyards, specialized in classic boat building, constantly renew their preference for Boero due to its high quality paints as well as to technical assistance constantly offered by the company. The product range, which includes primers, super-light fillers, undercoats, one and two component enamels and antifoulings, has been improved with tin-free antifoulings, both long-life and self-polishing, having a better performance then the tin-based ones and totally conforming to marine environment. The Boero Colori's Quality Management System complies with the requirements of UNI EN ISO 9002 for the production, sales and distribution of its paint range.
