Company Profile  Aged teak deck and flooring Traditional javanese houses consist of several wooden structures: Sokoguru , main pillars of teak column with size of 18cm square to 26 cm square with length of up to 4 meters Belandar , main roof beams of teak with sizes of 14 cm square to 20 cm square and length of up to 8 meters Wuwung , rooftop main beam of teak with sizes of 14 cm square to 20 cm square and length of up to 8 meters Gebyok , wall planks in the main center room of teak sizes 2-3cm thicknes ,15 -40cm wide and up to 2meters in length. The main teak sructures of the ancient javanese houses could be milled down to various of decks and flooring sizes The quality of the aged teak are very stable and give a beutifull slight dark colours giving avery exclusive look for yacht decks and flooring. Other wood species used in traditional javanese houses are mahogany , sonokeling (Indonesian rosewood) ,johar (wenge). We are proud to be member/ listed in the directory of Aged teak are found in the villages of Java island - Indonesia. The teak were taken from teak plantations that started during Dutch colonial time in 17th century.From that time teak were used in all construction of houses , mosques ,place of worships and even cows / buffalo stables.Today the teak plantations continue producing quality teak for world demand. After 1970 , most of the wood for construction are obtained from the forestry industries in Borneo , Sumatra and other islands of Indonesia. Teak price is too expensive for construction cost . Teak then only use as raw material for fine furnitures , carvings and expensive building parts We buy old houses in the villages to obtain the aged teak . The villagers are happy that by selling their old houses they can build new and improve their houses with better construction materials and method, hygienic requirements and sizes.
