In 1968 the current world-wide presence of Gartner had its beginnings in Bavaria, Germany. Franz Gartner began in his small family workshop, custom manufacturing special components for local suppliers in the metal products business. This humble beginning quickly grew into an enterprise with special applications in garment handling and overhead trolley systems. Gartner has installed the largest garment distribution system in the world and continues to find new applications for our unique products.
