Xijiang Shipyard is a Scale 2 Large State Enterprise, which is the only factory remained specially for building fast guided missile boat, as well the largest military shipyard in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The shipyard is founded in 1965, occupying an area of 900,000m2.
With the Aluminum Welding Qualification Certificate issued by DNV Register. It has fixed assets of RMB235,300,000, equipped with 1,688 sets of various production equipment, including Digital Control Plasma Cutter, Imported Long Shaft Lathe (SUS63H630X11000), Table Planing Machine (B2016-1600X6000), 45t Hydraulic Cranemobile, T-16X6000 Plate Roller, MVN31006.35 Large Shear, PPN180X40 Hydraulic Plate Flanging Machine, QF/13-400 Oil Press, American Imported Miller 450 Argon welder, 400Kw Heat Treatment Stove for Aluminum Alloy,etc. The shipyard have seven shipbuilding branch factories as hull fabrication, aluminum fabrication, marine machinery installation, electric installation, mechanical process and decoration, and seven non-ship production branch factories as pressure vessel, cold strip steel, general service machinery, environmental protection, light industry machinery, steal prevention, packing product, as well as hotel, shopping & trading center and petrol station,etc.
