BARE BOATS
The yachts are maintained by a group of specialists, are fully equipped and meet all Sun Yachting’s high standards of safety and comfort.
Every year the yachts are inspected by the Hellinic Register of Shipping, after which a new certificate of inspection is issued. All yachts are equipped with all safety equipment as Life Raft, Dinghy, Life jackets, life belts etc. as well as with all navigation equipment as V.H.F, Echosounder, Log, Wind instruments, Barometer etc. We provide all bare boats with clean laundry, complete sea charts and Greek water pilot. All yachts are delivered to charterers clean and in technical condition, with full fuel and water tanks.
All tanks have to be filled up at the expense of the charter after the charter. According to the Greek Law an official charter agreement must be singed by both the character and the broker. A crew list with passport numbers of the members must be onboard.
If the crew does not have enough sailing experience, a skipper can be hired.
All yachts are risk insured with a deductable. In advance of every charter this deductable has to be paid as a guarantee to the broker. When a charter boat is returned without damages or lost items, the total guarantee will be returned.
Every yacht will be delivered and redelivered with the aid of an inventory check list. This inventory list as well as an acceptance form has to be signed by the character. Any defective or missing items should be mentioned on the inventory list as well as on the acceptance form before sailing otherwise the charterer is liable for any damages or items lost during the charter.
According to the charter agreement, the yacht has to be redelivered clean and in the same condition as it was delivered to the charter. Clients can give us the order to clean the boat at their expense which depends on the size of the yacht.
Charters can start only during the weekend and from one of the following marinas:
Marina Alimos (Kalamaki), Marina Gouvia Gorfu (Kerkyra), Marina Mandraki Rhodes, Marina Kos, Marina Pythagorion Samos and Marina Skiathos.
CREWED YACHTS
When you charter a crewed yacht, the captain and the crew take all responsibility and care so your stay on board will be relaxed and comfortable.
Upon arrival, you and your captain decide your sailing itinerary. Of course, sailing schedules can be changed sometimes due to the weather and sea condition.
Daily rate of a crewed yacht include, crews’, wages and food, insurance of the yacht and crew, Greek ports' dues, clean laundry. Daily rate do not include, passengers’ personal laundry, food liquor, Corinth Canal dues (if used),fuel, foreign port dues.
We can provide you food, beverages, liquors etc. according to your instructions, if ordered in advance.
BERTHING INFORMATION
The boat is berthed with the stern or bow to the quay with an anchor out from the bow or stern respectively to hold the boat off the quay.
