Founded in 1930 as a small factory operating in the field of fuel injection systems for light industry, OMT has had a drastic transformation from that time, and is now one of the biggest world manufacturers of fuel injection systems.
At Cascine Vica, the new 14.000 m2 facility, of which 7.000 m2 workshop and additional 1.000 m2 for offices and services, is equipped with the most modern production means, several CNC machining centers and ECM (electrochemical machining) for automatic deburring and Laser welding system.
Completely robotized islands carry out unattended production of components.
The Quality Assurance is one of the most important departments in the OMT production cycle.
The OMT system is certified with ISO 9001 Quality Standard that also encompasses in-house engineering capabilities. The Quality Manual has been audited by the Swiss S.Q.S. consultants and is available to OMT's customers, upon request.
