Offshore Systems Ltd. designs, develops and markets the ECPINS (Electronic Chart Precise Integrated Navigation System) line of electronic chart navigation instruments. World-wide, the technology has been acknowledged as the most significant advance in marine navigation since the advent of radar over 50 years ago.
With the success of its ECPINS product, OSL now has one of the largest ECDIS type system installed bases in the world. Over 200 systems are currently in use by customers navigating vessels ranging from small cruise ships to 1000 ft bulk carriers. Ships equipped with ECPINS are operating in North America's St. Lawrence Seaway, the Great Lakes, the Columbia and Mississippi Rivers, and the Alaskan coast line. As well, ships transit the Atlantic, Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico with ECPINS.
