The Boatyard Kristeri & Co was founded 1.7.1980. In the year 1985 the yard presented the first Degerö 35 S that was designed by the Swedish designer Håkan Södergren. With this boat the yard came to a new class. In the year 1990 was the first Degerö 33 DS ready, that was designed by the Finnish designer Hans Groop and was a deck salong boat.
In the year 1998 presented the yard a new Degerö 38 DS. The designer is Degerö-Team. The young Finnish Olli Salmela had a big part in the design too. This boat has been planned for all seas and for all conditions. In fall 1999 founded the Boatyard Kristeri & Co a Company Degerö Boat Oy with the German agent TW Nautic GmbH&Co.KG. The managing director is Risto Kristeri and director Jörg Tapken from TW Nautic is a member of the board. The Boatyard Kristeri & Co and Degerö Boat Oy have importers in following countries:
